PARENT ENGAGEMENT
At Pacific Coast Academy, we know community matters to families. Parent education is a top priority at our school. All enrolled families receive access to our private Parent Partners website, where they can find Zoom links and recordings of our Parent Partners workshops.
We offer a wide range of workshops and resources to support families, examples of previous year workshops include:
- Finding high-quality materials (Teachers Pay Teachers) that match your child’s learning goals
- Aligning IXL practice with “I Can” statements
- Designing lessons and activities that fit your child’s needs
- Teen tools for independence and executive skills
- ADHD workshop: strategies, interventions, and resets
- Bringing history to life through engaging activities
- And many more practical, family-focused topics
Families may use these resources at their own pace. We also offer live virtual sessions, allowing parents to interact with other parents, ask questions, and collaborate with our community of parents and teachers. Our goal is to keep parents connected, informed, and supported in their child’s learning.
